The number “8” included in the coming year, lends itself well to the declination, in graphic form, of two rings that intersect, to symbolize the strong and indissoluble bond between the city and the “university” institution. The composition is almost a respectful homage to the designer’s educational reference points: Bauhaus, Paul Rand, Milton Glaser, Bob Noorda and to the reference images of some of the most important international events, including the Olympics, where the graphics elements create a simple composition, adaptable to any context and, in any case, easily “appreciable” by users.
The colored bands represent the five Schools of the University (Medicine and Surgery, Polytechnic, Legal and economic-social sciences, Basic and applied sciences, Human sciences and cultural heritage).
